I am getting ready to give my 2006 Chevy a brake overhaul so I looked online at these Russell lines and the reviews are not good. Wrong parts in package, labeled wrong, metal sealing washers giving up after 2-3 years, hoses not affixing to arms correctly, ends not going through hold areas. I was excited to see this braided steel and a kit but I am not buying it with all these issues.

Hopefully this fixes my problem for my s130 I got, my dad took it to lowes since its got warranty,but as usual,they messed with it instead of repaired it,so now the blades won't engage,so hopefully this is the issue instead of the whole PTO switch

Great job Ferry on the carb repair. Bad fuel can be a bill problem with many of these engine. Treating the fuel can really help to decrease these problems.

Small carbs are a pain in the butt.

Hi Terry That's a job well done like always. I had an experience with stabil, the red fuel stabilizer. I put 3 ounces in my big genset in the fall and let it run for a couple of minutes then turned off the fuel valve and let it run dry. In the spring I used the genset a lot and went to put 5 gallons in and notice all the stabil from six months earlier was all gelled up sitting on the bottom of my tank . I have used it before and never experienced that but I always put it in a gas can and shake it up so just pouring it in a tank is where I see a problem if it can't be shaken up.

Thanks for sharing. I found that my 420 axle to frame bolts were also slightly loose. Nothing like yours, but it was still allowing the axle to slide as evidenced by some marks on the frame. Something to look out for if you own a 318, 316, or 420.

From D100 owners manual on blade brake specifications. This distance is measured from the BACK of the bracket to the BACK of the nut. with the brakes resting on the pulleys. 4. Measure distance from spindle brake bracket (B) to nut (C) on end of brake rod. • Bracket to nut distance should be: 2 - 3 mm (0.08 - 0.12 in). 5. If adjustment is required, turn nut (C) on end of brake rod in correct direction to set brake at proper distance from pulley. 6. Adjust both brakes. IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Avoid belt damage. Spindle brake engagement should be checked and corrected every time the mower belt tension is adjusted. Mower belt tension should be adjusted, if required, before brakes are adjusted.

i bought an old 185 hydro that bucked violently on takeoff . owner said he quit using it because of trans . turned out that the bolts holding the trans to tractor were extremely loose .

I just knock the filter on a flat surface gently opposite of air flow, might try a vacuum but I never use high pressure air

Nice job Terry good video glad you have an Onan now because I like your videos. I started using Shell Rotella T6 synthetic for diesel 10W-30 from Menards about 24 bucks for a gallon and the oil consumption and compression seem to really improve given a little run time.
